Historically, the “War Room” method of problem solving involved a variety of specialized individuals meeting face‑to‑face to work through, resolve, and disband an issue. This method, while expensive, has been adopted by IT teams for major rollouts, big upgrades, and for resolving high impact problems..
Conversely, the “Agile Development” methodology was developed in reaction to traditional development methods, valuing smaller, incremental, and frequent deliverables with lots of iterative adjustments.
What if we could take ingredients from these two methods and combine them, add in a healthy portion of virtual collaboration possibilities, and expand the flavor of the “room” globally. Could this be a healthy recipe for IT success?
Join George Spalding and Matt Selheimer as they cook up the modern day IT Agile War Room.
